Like everyone knows and aware that, we all passing through the most difficult phase of pandemic world over. And as Indian Agents of overseas machine tools manufacturers, we hardly have had any strategy to work on it as the manufactures themselves are in troubled waters.
Nevertheless, we all jointly deiced to work on it to face covid difficult market situation. The first was to identify sectors, where we could promote the products and which companies are cash rich, who can even make investments in this crucial period. One of the segment in this was obviously the Govt organization, defence sector etc who have relatively good funds to procure their requirements even in such grave situation. The other was to realign the product mix and/or the model mix. Based on the past experience, we could identify the models that are often preferred by Indian users and then it was decided to concentrate on its promotion. It was then all focus on pushing these models — obviously sell more with which the price can be lowered. It was a simple economic formula to increase the volumes and to lower the prices automatically. As a capital goods buyer, every one needs lower and lower prices and belter & better quality. With the above two strategies, we could swim through the channel to a great extent. And finally let us hope, soon the pandemic will be over and we all be poised to take a great leap in the near future.
