Hoshi Tools (P) Ltd, is a constituent member of Mac Group, situated in Peenya Industrial area, is engaged in Design – Development & Manufacture of special purpose indexable insert type cutting tools, as its core product category and precision engineering and aerospace components being additional manufacturing activity.
Founded in 1994, Hoshi has established itself as one of the pioneers in manufacturing of cutting tools and precision engineering components. It is because of systematic orientation, by a team of well qualified and proven technocrats who had envisaged the need to enter the global market. Strict adherence to international quality standards and delivery schedules being our motto has paid us good measure in getting domestic as well as global orders. The company has taken a giant leap forward and has bagged valuable orders from overseas.
Our potential has evinced a keen interest in several overseas organizations, which are desirous of placing orders on us. Our Machine shop, equipped with, around 15 VMC Machines – 3 axis thru 5 axis, four turning centers, well supported by conventional machine shop, equipped advanced CAD/CAM set-up, quality control equipment, super-drilling and laser etching machines, to manufacture complex tool holders, which guarantee performance of high standards. We are also taking up manufacturing of precision engineering & machine components, aerospace development & supply on a regular supply basis. Hoshi today is confident that it can meet complex challenges from its growing customer base, in India and abroad.
In order to meet ever increasing demands of our customers, we have been identifying & stream lining our capabilities, evolving through modern technology and finding ways for shorter delivery schedules & solving problems at work site, so as to broaden the scope of our services and to assure, how best we can serve our customers. Our customers have benefited in reducing cost of production through our recommendations for cycle time reduction and number of set-ups of machining of their components. To quote an example, at one of our customer of long time, we have replaced three tools required earlier for machining automobile crank case, combined into one tool thus reducing number of process and cycle time, resulting in 40% reduction in production cost, more parts per shift, thus adding to the customer’s profit. Our comprehensive tooling solutions for components such as connecting rods, cylinder blocks, crank cases, valve seats, brake calipers etc among several automobile industries and valve bodies, API Sealing ring grooves among oil and gas industries have been well appreciated by the customers, resulting in repeat orders from them for us.
Further in a move, to broaden the spectrum of tooling solutions, we have been in the process of having understanding with mutually consenting business partners, especially of international reputation. In this regard, we have successfully having the dealerships of M/s AKKO – of Turkey, for Standard Turning, Milling & Drilling Solutions and M/s PINZBOHR, of Spain, for Modular Boring Program, both these companies have long history of successful tooling solutions background. This way we would be able to meet entire tooling requirements of customers.
Our customers include leaders in automobile industries, machine tool builders, MNC Tool manufacturers, ancillary units to auto and machine tool industries, aerospace units etc, located domestically as well as overseas. We hope to be able to serve more & more customers in future.
