Over 20 Taiwanese Companies Present Precision Technologies to Support India’s Manufacturing Growth

Greater Noida, India – As India accelerates its industrial transformation and strengthens its advanced manufacturing capabilities, Taiwanese solution providers are expanding their engagement with one of Asia’s fastest-growing manufacturing markets.

The Taiwan Smart Machinery Promotion Program, organized by the International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, and implemented by the Precision Machinery Research & Development Center (PMC), is participating in AMTEX 2026, North India’s leading machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition, from July 24–27.

Under the theme “Precision from Taiwan. Progress for India,” the Taiwan Pavilion brings together more than 20 leading Taiwanese companies specializing in smart machinery, automation equipment, precision machining, cutting tools, and key industrial components. The pavilion highlights Taiwan’s integrated manufacturing ecosystem and its ability to help Indian manufacturers improve productivity, enhance product quality, and accelerate industrial upgrading.

The opening day featured an industry forum and media networking session attended by manufacturing executives, industry buyers, and trade media from across India.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Yu-Chi Chen, Executive Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, emphasized the growing momentum in Taiwan–India economic cooperation, particularly in smart manufacturing, precision engineering, and industrial automation.

She noted that Taiwan’s highly integrated manufacturing supply chain and advanced engineering capabilities enable Indian manufacturers to improve operational efficiency, strengthen quality control, and reduce production costs while building more resilient supply chains. She also expressed confidence that the exhibition would create new opportunities for industrial collaboration between Taiwan and India.

The featured forum, “Smart Precision Manufacturing: Taiwan Solutions for India’s Next Industrial Growth,” brought together Mr. Vaibhav Shah, Chief of Global Business and Chief Marketing Officer of Cosmos Group, alongside representatives from four Taiwanese technology companies—SOCO Machinery, Ingenious Machinery, Cheng-Hsin Precision Technology, and Oscar E.D.M. Company Ltd.

Panel discussions explored how India’s manufacturing expansion is driving demand for high-precision machining, factory automation, smart manufacturing systems, and flexible production technologies. Speakers agreed that as initiatives such as “Make in India” continue to accelerate industrial development, manufacturers are increasingly seeking production solutions that combine precision, efficiency, flexibility, and cost competitiveness.

Taiwan’s manufacturing ecosystem was recognized as well positioned to meet these demands through its complete supply chain, mature engineering expertise, and strong customization capabilities. Rather than supplying individual products alone, Taiwanese companies increasingly offer integrated manufacturing solutions that help customers improve productivity while maintaining long-term competitiveness.

Beyond the exhibition, the Taiwan Smart Machinery Promotion Program has organized a series of business-focused activities throughout AMTEX 2026, including technology presentations, media engagement, elevator pitches, and dedicated business matchmaking sessions featuring sample demonstrations and trial-order discussions. These initiatives are designed to help international buyers gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s smart manufacturing capabilities and facilitate practical business cooperation.

As India continues investing in advanced manufacturing and industrial modernization, Taiwan is strengthening its role as a trusted technology partner, offering innovative, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Through international exhibitions and industry collaboration platforms, the Taiwan Smart Machinery Promotion Program will continue connecting Taiwanese manufacturers with global partners and creating new opportunities for long-term business collaboration between Taiwan and India.
