Setco Spindles India Successfully Completed Trials and Dispatched First Commercial Export Order to South Korean Machine Tool OEM
Setco Spindles India, a part of Setco, the world’s largest independent spindle rebuilder and a leader in high-performance spindle solutions, today announced that it has dispatched the first commercial export order of three numbers of drilling application spindles to a Machine Tool OEM based in South Korea.
This commercial order was received after the successful completion of trials of prototype spindle over a period of 5 months. These BT 50 spindles, designed specifically for drilling applications, operate at 3000 RPM and are being shipped as white-label spindles to be used in the OEM machine.
The successful delivery marks a significant milestone for Setco Spindles India as it continues to expand its footprint outside India, demonstrating its capability in providing high-quality, customized spindle solutions that meet the unique needs of global Machine Tool OEMs.

Setco Spindles India has with the focus on delivering quality products recently installed a CMM machine as well as implemented TPM program in March 2024. The company today manufactures approximately 70-80 spindles a month for Machine Tool OEMs in India as well as End customer of both belt driven and direct drive type model.
This is a milestone for Indian Machine Tool industry as globally the spindles industry is dominated by manufacturers from Taiwan and recently China.
Setco Spindles India is also working on an order of twenty numbers of spindles for Setco USA that will be used by an US based Machine Tool OEM.
