We felt the need to bring Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the need of the manufacturing process. Our ongoing projects during and beyond pandemic was that we had been demonstrating how our IOT enabled welding solutions- “weldcube” can help to usher in a more digitized industrial era in various manufacturing Sectors where welding data management was playing a prime importance.

Our advanced technologies for knowledge transfer (e.g. “virtual welder” and “welducation”) were providing the state-of-the-art tutorials and didactical materials online. We have introduced high-tech education resources to build the best foundation for the next generation of welders, and we are welders at heart that’s why we not only pioneer new and mind-opening solutions, we also support the welding education programs. By this we bring excitement to the classroom and talents “to the field”, ensuring a varied and hands-on learning across all areas of welding. With our innovative practices, training formats and revolutionary technologies, we encourage and inspire the mind and hands that will weld the world of tomorrow. Fronius thus has its unique human touch into all our training resources.

Fronius has always been setting trends in welding technology, one example being Cold Metal Transfer. This method enables the thermal joining of galvanised steel with aluminium sheets, it can even be used to join wafer-thin aluminium sheets from a thickness of just 0.3 millimetres .Also this technology supports the Wire+ Arc Additive Manufacturing which is a near net shape 3D metal printing technique. With the modular TPS/i welding platform, Fronius also has an intelligent welding system that enables process upgrades at any time, increasing flexibility for both manual & robot-assisted welding requirements as machines no longer have to be replaced.
