CalibroMeasure Equipments has started with a vision of partnering with precision gear & geared shaft manufacturers to achieve zero rejection skipping to their customer as well as controlling internal rejection through the use of highly precise automated inspection equipments. One more objective that we serve is drastic reduction in manpower in final inspection by engineering inspection solutions to cover most of the inspection CTQs on a single equipment, also reducing handling and required space.
Over the short history of the company, we have been able to provide inspection solutions to the most of the renowned Tier 1 gear manufacturers & OEMs. We have also been able to provide unique inspection solutions to precision gears and transmission shaft exporters to ensure zero rejection skipping overseas with 100% traceability. Thus, enhancing their supplier rating and protecting them from huge debits.
Q. Please also highlight the latest initiatives in your industry domain?
Though CalibroMeasure started with total focus on final inspection area, we have very recently developed new product lines like RollSmart®® and DobSmart®® to help eliminate human errors in in-process inspection thereby, drastically reducing internal rejection. These equipments also enable users to convert attribute type of inspection to quantified type with data capturing.
RollSmart® is a very economical and semi automatic gear roll tester specifically designed for the shop floor. This helps eliminate in process rejection arising due to human errors leading to huge savings. Some of the key features are: real time graph of the process trend, quick change over (under 1 minute), recording of missed inspections etc. This will help you do away with the primitive manual roll testers thus upgrading your setup.
DobSmart® is a semiautomatic DoB inspection equipment for in process inspection. This helps eliminate in process rejection arising due to the human errors and negligence. Some of the key features are: auto generation of correction factor to be given to the CNC, DoB at multiple places over the circle, hob life can be monitored etc.
Q.What are the market opportunities for your company’s products in India?
With increasing awareness and implementation of industry 4.0, we are already seeing the demand for CalibroMeasure’s inspection solutions rising. The IoT features that our products provide are path breaking in the gear industry. In our inspection solutions, important updates about the quality of gears which are ready to dispatch are sent to the concerned person’s mobile device in real time.
Our in process inspection equiments RollSmart® and DobSmart® enables the user to have real time process trend, number of times the operator has skipped the desired frequency of inspection, data for hob life analysis for various hobbing machines on his fingertips.
Q. Are there any plans for expansion & new investment in terms of product development or new technology adoption to cater the demand of the industry?
Being a 42 years old ,we keep investing in new products as well as facilities when required. Indian industry is also moving towards industry 4.0. Our dedicated R & D team having experts in meachanical design and software development is planning to develop more and more machine learning features in our equipment. Our equipments are industry 4.0 ready. we started with IoT features iin our equipment and now we are trying to makr more advancement in industrial AI
Q. What is the top line product range & Is there any plans to launch new products?
Our top line products is GearMate Superior ®GearMate Superior ®– These is a customised and automated gear roll testing equipment which can also inspect the other CTQ parameters (like MOT, DoB, ID, various run outs etc.) on the same equipment along with data saving and traceability through QR/bar code. This helps achieve ‘zero rejection after dispatch’, drastic manpower reduction, zero human dependence, space optimization and SPC analysis. They come with host of unique features like ‘master run out compensation’.
Over and above the in -process inspection equipments RollSmart and DobSmartvmentioned before,we are soon going to launch PCDSmart,an automatic equipments for in -process inspection of PCD runout with features like data saving It’ll give quantified inspection results and will eliminate dependency on skilled manpower. We are planning to develop equipments for pitch error measurement and absolute DOB inspection in the near future.
