KS Tools is a manufacturer involved in tool grinding and resharpening, which was founded nearly 20 years back by Mr. D.R. Sharma. A family owned company, KS Tools was facing significant challenges due to its conventional setup & infrastructure. The company was losing out to its competitors as it was not able to tap into growing market opportunity provided by increasing demand of multi-step profile tools.
Two years ago, the company was joined by the second generation, Mr. D.R. Sharma’s son, Jitendra. Being a young leader, Jitendra realized the limitations of the legacy infrastructure and convinced his family to upgrade to advanced 5-Axis CNC grinding machine and enter into the multi-step profile tools market. His motive behind this was to provide costeffective tooling to the customers.
However, after investing in a CNC grinding machine, Jitendra started realizing that just having the machine was not enough. A CNC grinding machine came with own set of challenges and it was difficult to make a mark on the customers in this fiercely competitive space. He was constantly exploring ways to remain true to KS Tools’ focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring quality products with competitive prices.
