“Welding Excellence from a Single Source – That’s the CLOOS Advantage.

    ALL FROM A SINGLE SOURCE

The strong engagement at IMTEX 2026 and our customers’ trust in CLOOS as a single-source solution partner continue to drive us to push the boundaries of welding innovation.”
    Sumon Mitra

    COO, CLOOS India

IMTEX 2026 once again proved to be a landmark event for India’s manufacturing and engineering community—and CLOOS India emerged as one of the key highlights of the exhibition. With a strong focus on intelligent, future-ready welding solutions, CLOOS showcased its commitment to supporting Indian manufacturers with proven German engineering and complete single-source solutions. At Stall A124, Hall 3A, visitors experienced live demonstrations of CLOOS’s advanced welding technologies, reinforcing the company’s position as a global pioneer in welding automation. The response from customers across sectors such as heavy engineering, railways, automotive, construction equipment, and general fabrication was overwhelming, reflecting the growing demand for reliable, high-productivity welding solutions in India.

A major attraction at the CLOOS stall was the live demonstration of TANDEM+ 3-wire welding technology—a powerful evolution of the world-renowned Tandem process. Designed for high deposition rates, deep penetration, and exceptional process stability, TANDEM+ impressed visitors with its ability to significantly boost productivity while maintaining consistent weld quality. The technology is particularly suited for heavy structures and high-volume applications, where efficiency and repeatability are critical.

CLOOS also highlighted its programming-free robotic welding solutions, drawing strong interest from manufacturers looking to reduce dependency on skilled labor while improving flexibility. These systems enable operators to start welding quickly without complex programming, making automation accessible even for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Another key highlight was the QIROX robotic welding portfolio, including the integrated 7-axis robot, compact welding cells, and adaptive welding solutions. Visitors appreciated the seamless integration of robots, positioners, controllers, welding power sources, and software—demonstrating CLOOS’s strength as a true single-source solution provider. The live demonstrations clearly showed how adaptive welding and intelligent seam tracking can ensure consistent weld quality, even with part variations.

The QINEO ArcBot cobot also attracted significant attention, particularly for applications requiring safe human-robot collaboration. With features such as intelligent seam tracking and built-in fume extraction, the cobot underlined CLOOS’s focus on productivity, safety, and workplace ergonomics.

In addition to automation, CLOOS reaffirmed its leadership in manual welding machines, showcasing robust, industry-proven solutions that complement automated systems. This complete portfolio—from manual machines to advanced robotic cells—reinforced the company’s philosophy of delivering end-to-end welding solutions from a single source. Commenting on the success of IMTEX 2026, the CLOOS India team emphasized the importance of local presence, application expertise, and long-term customer partnerships. With its technology-driven approach and growing footprint in India, CLOOS continues to play a key role in supporting the country’s transition toward smart manufacturing.

Motion Weld by CLOOS – Precision in Motion

The MoTion Package is a complete, ready-to-use welding solution that includes a power source, wire feeder, hose packages and our MoTion Drive. It’s designed for applications in 3D printing, automation, and thin sheet welding.

A key innovation within this portfolio is MoTion Vari Weld, an energy-reduced, low-spatter pulsed arc process with reversing welding wire, specially developed for aluminium applications. In this process, the welding wire moves forward and backward. This controlled reversing motion creates extremely high process stability, particularly in the lower power range.High process stability and high-quality visual seam appearance thanks to reversing welding wire in thin sheet metal, less rework due to minimised spatter and smoke formation, excellent weld seam quality thanks to precise heat control, less rework due to low distortion, efficient welding production thanks to up to 40% higher welding speed.

    QIROX-Robotic

CLOOS India continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for intelligent welding solutions, combining German engineering excellence with deep local application expertise. With a strong focus on the Indian manufacturing ecosystem, the company delivers end-to-end welding solutions—from manual welding machines and programming-free automation to advanced robotic systems and high-productivity processes such as TANDEM+—all from a single source. Backed by its modern technology and application centre in Pune, CLOOS India supports customers through the complete project lifecycle, including process development, simulation, trials, training, installation, and long-term service support. This localized approach enables faster commissioning, reduced risk, and solutions precisely tailored to Indian production environments.

At IMTEX 2026, CLOOS India demonstrated not only technological leadership but also its commitment to building long-term manufacturing capability in the country. By focusing on productivity, process stability, and reduced dependency on skilled labour, the company is helping Indian manufacturers scale efficiently while meeting global quality standards. With a clear vision and strong customer partnerships, CLOOS India is playing a key role in shaping the future of intelligent welding automation in India.
