Manufacturing ground to a halt, businesses collapsed, jobs were lost; it was a dire time for the industry. In this do-or-die scenario, the industries that adapted to the change survived, and thrived.
ATQ Metro is one. Our Story
Founded by Mr. Sanjay Desai in 2012, ATQ Metro is a leading manufacturer and service provider of state-of-the-art engineering products in the field of Industrial 2D/3D Metrology, Dimensional Measurement, Reverse Engineering, and Traceability. Built on the principles of Accuracy, Trust, and Quality, we are known for high-quality precision products and excellent technical support. It all started with Mr. Desai, who observed the need for quality measuring equipment in the mechanical industry and decided to establish ATQ Metro. An engineer by profession, his aim was to build ATQ Metro as a brand, setting the company apart for its accuracy and precision.
ATQ Metro is an ISO 9001 certified engineering company that offers a wide range of products for non-contact and contact measurement used in production, quality control, manufacturing, and research. Our products cater to Automotive, General Engineering, Aerospace, Plastic, Rubber industry, Medicare industry, 3c products, Jewellery etc. Our flagship products include the Vision Measuring Machine, the Universal Tool Inspection System, the Vertical and Horizontal Profile Projectors, Fiber Laser Marking Machine, and Digital Magnifier. The journey over these last 9 years has been full of ups and downs. We have weathered many personal and professional challenges to reach this point. The biggest yet was, of course, the COVID-19 pandemic.
Weathering the COVID-19 Pandemic
Adaptability and an agile approach have long been a part of ATQ Metro’s culture. In this pandemic period, we took it to the next level by implementing various innovative ideas such as virtual office tours for machine demos, online team-bonding activities to stay connected in tough times, adopting Daily Small Improvements (DSI) to increase productivity, and many others.
We grew our online presence and used digital media to drive sales. Managing different time zones and work hours was difficult, but our support team nevertheless provided exceptional customer service to all clients across various geographies, helping us reach the milestone of 100 customers. In the year 2020 we launched two new products – the Vertical fast Measurement System and the Horizontal fast Measurement System (which received an overwhelming response from our clients). Today, we are proud to say that we now have a PAN-India presence, led by teams of dynamic and experienced leaders.
Secret to Success?
ATQ Metro has reached these milestones due to the dedication and commitment of our team members. At ATQ Metro, we believe that every individual is a part of the team. This sense of belonging and ownership has created a strong sense of commitment towards work and the company. We have seen many ups and downs as a company. However, knowing that our team was ever-present to stand strong in support is what sustained us through those difficult times.
