Q. How was the year that went by for your organisation?
FY 17-18 was a difficult year for us with sales ending approximately flat as against the previous year but we ended with a very strong order booking for FY -18-19 as we saw things pick- up in the last Quarter. Happily on the strategic front we were able to make considerable progress with many initiatives including moving to a brand new 7500 Sq. Ft facility.
Q. What are the innovations you could showcase recently as a trendsetter?
We have many new and innovative solutions across our verticals but the most recent have been the release of a new line of Aluminum and Stainless steel Air Motors and also an industry first “ION WASH” system for 3D Parts and components. The new MVP range of Air Motors will allow us to get into the Sanitary mixing market and these units offer industry leading power-to-weight ratio, operating efficiency and some of the lowest noise levels. Our revolutionary components cleaning system called “ION WASH” that can now offer an extremely cost -effective and consistent cleaning option for 3D components that are traditionally cleaned manually with Air Guns. We believe, this system has excellent potential in automotive, medical as well as Aerospace and Defense areas.
Q. There’s always a better way. How did you prove this axiom?
Strangely this is an axiom that is now front and center across the company as a part of our strategic plan to look at all our processes, specially customer touch point processes. We have been reviewing each and every process always bearing in mind that there is a better way. We believe, this strategic initiative will bring / lay the foundation for our growth . We are working on this axiom in a collaborative way with external input as well.
Q. What are the dynamics of your industry and what measures do you take to stay ahead?
As we operate primarily in the niche and customized area with our solutions across all our vertical, the key focus is always on innovation and customization. Customers today are always looking for value added services from their partners and towards this endeavor, we constantly strive to provide new solutions, new products which will ensure we remain relevant and continue to thrive in an ever more competitive market.
