    Asiamold2018 – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition to open from 4 – 6 March

    Scheduled fringe programme offers invaluable market intelligence and business opportunities

    Asiamold – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition is ready to present some of the latest offerings from the mould, diecasting and additive manufacturing markets. Running concurrently with SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou (SIAF) from 4 – 6 March at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China, the two fairs will welcome850 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions across 60,000 sqm of exhibition space.

    Highly regarded within the industry as an effective trading platform, the show attractsleading brands who are wellprepared to present their latest innovations inmould making, die casting, metalworking, 3D printing and automation technologies. Some of the prominent brands confirmed for the 2018 edition include:

    Shenzhen Chenvo Technology Co Ltd

    Participating for the first time, Shenzhen Chenvo Technology specialises in high-end manufacturing industries such as precision moulds, precision metal manufacturing, product assembly, R & D and the manufacture of intelligent terminal cabinet products.The company’s wide-ranging product portfolio includes ATM machine cabinets, new energy sources, smart unmanned cabinets, medical devices and railwayapparatus.

    Dneprospetsstal

    Making its debut at the show, Dneprospetsstal is a keysupplier of steel moulds.Their products are used in the manufacturing process of metal-cutting tools, machine parts, seamless tubes and bearings.

    China HP Co Ltd

    This year, HP will bring the HP 3D Structured Light Scanner Pro S3 and HD Jet Fusion 3D 4300/3200 Printer to the show. The feactured 3D scannercan create a digitalised 360° 3D model with up to 0.05 mm resolution. HP claims that this new edition of their 3D printer operates at up to ten times the speed of other models while remaining more cost effective.

    Guangzhou Heygears Intel Manufacturing Cent Co Ltd

    Heygears is a manufacturer of 3D printing technology, products and services.They specialise in producing smart wearable devices such as personal earphones, dentures and highly customisableclothing.

    Han’s MP Laser Technology Co Ltd

    Han Group is a laser processing equipment manufacturer that specialisesin low-power laser cutting machine research and development. Their products are widely used across many different industries includingthe automotive, lighting, and handicraft sectors.

    Aside from the exhibition, Asiamold also incorporates a fringe programme of events designed to allow fairgoers the chance to learn about various aspects of the industry.Held concurrently with SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou(SIAF), a total of 80talks will highlight innovative technological breakthroughs, future development trends as well as numerous business opportunities.

    A key focus this year centres on the Automobile Lightweight Product and Technology Summit. Making its first appearance, the summit aims to highlight technologies used for weight reduction and energy saving. Some of the key speakers and their respective presentations include:

    • Topic Application of Automotive Body Shell and Materials Lightweight
      Speaker: Mr Yuan Huanquan, Chief Technology Officer and Director of Bodywork Department, Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd
    • Topic: The Advanced Application of Plastics in Automobile Lightweight Mould Technology

    • Topic: New Progress of BAOSTEEL’s Auto Sheet Lightweight

    The show will also feature the Guangzhou International 3D Printing Technology Application Summit, which will be held on 5 March.The summitwill consist of 13 sessions thatcover the latest 3D printing and mould technologies. Some of the highlighted speakers and their respective presentations include:

    Visitors to show are highly recommended to stop by the 3D Printing Gallery in Hall 1.1. With “Shape the World” as its theme, the gallery will showcase the exquisite detail and technical workinvolved in 3D printing.     13 – 16 November 2018 at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds in Germany. Intermold Japan will take place from 18 – 21 April 2018 in Tokyo and 13 – 16 June 2018 in Nagoya.
