99MNHance Industrial Services99mnhance is an innovator par excellence. The brainchild of Hardik Parmar, 99mnhance is in a class apart when it comes to providing customized automation solutions for machining in industries as diverse as heavy engineering, automobile, defence, aerospace and metalworking. In less than five years from the inception, the company has carved a niche for itself in designing and developing angle heads best suited for most demanding applications in the priority sector. With over a hundred angle heads giving peak performance in the user industry, the company has embellished its ever-expanding reference list with impressive names like L & T, ELECON, ISRO and Defence and a host of others from the automotive sector. The saga is highly inspiring for anyone who fosters a vision to make it big, harnessing one’s core competence, innovative spirit and steadfast commitment to make a difference to the end-customer and the country, discovers Machine Tools World in an interview with director Hardik Parmar. Excerpts:

    Q. Could you give an overview of your company and its reach?

99mnhance Industrial Services is an Indian manufacturing company located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Our veteran and innovative staff, based at our headquarters as well as at various sales and service locations across the country, are dedicated to providing our customers with the latest and best technology available.

99mnahnce was originally founded in 2017. When Hardik Parmar, the Founder started the company, he began to design and build his first angle head as he couldn’t find anything similar on the Indian market.

After the successful development of the product, we got it approved by manufacturing majors like L&T, Defence, ISRO, Elecon Engineering, and many others in automobile and machining sectors. Till last year, we sold more than 100 angle heads in the market which are giving peak performance in the industry. Currently we are working on a BHEL project for the same product.

Day by day we grew in size and began to diversify production by introducing some invention and customization in Angle Heads.

    Q. Please also enlighten us on the latest initiatives in your industry domain.

These days advanced engineering will require special machines and tools. Technology up-gradation in automobile and defence have triggered new developments in machining. So we are well prepared to address the emerging challenges.
Our production now includes high-speed angle heads with Auto Clamping and Spindle Extension.

Every 99mnahnce angle head can be tailored to meet the customer’s exacting needs. We offer a wide range of variables and options on every single model.

The opportunities are numerous and we won’t leave any stone unturned. We can always develop tailor-made angle heads to meet special customer requirements. We have vast experience in developing custom-made products. Over time, they are added to our standard range in order to expand our portfolio.

    Q. What are the market opportunities for your products in India?

There is a huge market and we keep on developing new products for Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, General machining, Medical, Die & Mould and Paper Industry, just to mention a few.

Our standard and custom-made angle heads for machining centres are designed and manufactured to handle the most difficult applications. Hence they are ideal for heavy milling operations and they complement current machine capabilities. Furthermore, accuracy and productivity are maximized by performing vertical, horizontal and angular operations without repositioning the workpiece.

Our angle heads are equipped with automatic tool changing system. In addition, they can be rotated through 360° compatible with industry standard machining centres.

Our angle heads can be used in milling, drilling, and tapping with advantage. Production engineers know that they can count on the performance of our angle heads for achieving guaranteed optimum results.

99MNHANCE’S Level Headed Approach to Customize Angle Heads

    Q. What are the future prospects of your industry?

Our products are the result of continuous improvement, emanating from our pursuit of passion and excellence, attention to details and design which is robust.

The R&D team strives constantly to achieve improvement of the existing lines to offer an increasing range of configurable options of the standard line and develop test products born from the most special needs of certain customers. This we foresee as an interesting evolution for our field.

An example of this successful combination was the development of automatic tool change: originally born from a special request and then standardised and added to our catalogue.

Customers’ requests apart, 99mnhance is also a pioneer in searching new technologies to be imbibed and implemented. For instance, gears with new modules, or non-contact seals to increase rpm and reduce the stress during machining.

Our aim is always to be responsive to market needs and, wherever possible, to anticipate challenges.
We are constantly improving our products, exploiting the latest technologies, and studying material tightness and processing time optimization.

    Q. What are your growth plans?

We are currently in the development phase – working on developing Servo Motor enabled Angle heads.

We always listen to the customer first and understand his specific needs before embarking on a new project.

Our working method is based on five fundamental steps that guide the customer step by step from a simple inquiry to the delivery of the most suitable angle head for their application.

Thanks to this systematic approach, 99mnhance has become popular and is appreciated for the ‘made in India’ quality.

    Q. What is your current range of manufacture? Is there any new product development in the anvil?

99mnhance has installed more than 100 products all over India and carries over 50 special projects to solve specific customer requirements every year.

Great experience also leads to great flexibility. With our wide range of standard heads, we offer an infinite range of customisations and production modifications tailored to the needs of each customer.

Our angle heads are the most suitable equipment to complete the machining of even complex workpieces, thus avoiding additional set-up.

Thanks to a simple installation, which we can also tailor to the customer’s needs, our angle heads can be fitted on each machine either with automatic tool change or manually mounted to optimize the spindle capacity.

We are about to manufacture auto clamp angle head with automatic degree adjustment. We hope to complete this project by December 2024

All 99mnahnce’s angle heads are carefully designed and manufactured in our plant in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

    Q. What‘s your vision for your company?

In a couple of years we want to be a global leader in our line of business.

For a company like ours, it is paramount to develop angle heads that are also technologically advanced in order to be able to respond to the mechanical stress of new materials, e.g., machining on light alloys with low thermal conductivity, or titanium alloys that are particularly hard-to-cut. These are some of the challenges that we face daily.

Our vision is innovation in customization and offering the best-performing, technologically advanced products and solutions to delight our customers at large.
