Technology is getting advanced day by day. Getting equipped with modern advancements, machine tool manufacturers were able to improve their productivity, efficiency and quality of the components. The Indian Machine Tool industry has grown and is well positioned in the global market.
The Make in India Campaign has helped many small and mid-cap industries to grow. Many aerospace companies are planning for projects in India. This will definitely develop India’s aerospace and manufacturing capacity and it will also give opportunities for various manufacturing industries, since there will be a huge requirement for aerospace components.
How are your products/services geared up to be in line with recent trends, such as Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing?
Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing has already created a buzz in the machine tool world and many of the manufacturing companies including us have started initiatives towards it. We have introduced various methods and strategies in our manufacturing facility so as to manufacture rotary tables in a cost effective way and of higher quality. We developed Single Axis Controller that can be connected with wi-fi and our Noah Series Gear Hobbing Machine’s CNC Controller is also equipped with wi-fi making it more user friendly.
We believe in “Continuous Improvement”. This has helped us give our customers quality products. It has also increased the efficiency and productivity. UCAM feels proud to announce the New Mint Series CNC Rotary Tables for the Machine tool manufacturers and VMC users.
The new URXH and URX Series Rotary Tables from the portfolio of UCAM rotary table products enables users to give higher cutting forces onto the component, thus reducing the cycle time and increasing productivity.
These Rotary Tables are with very high clamping torque generated by the new technology brake discs which are specially processed to generate higher frictional torque. Also, the clamping area increased to generate higher clamping forces. The URXH Series compared to others, come with 3 times higher clamping torque (800 Nm @ 5 bar pneumatic pressure). Apart from the higher clamping torque, the URXH series is with a specially molded FRP motor guard which has helped in the reduction of overall weight of the Rotary Table by 6 percent. In URX 200 Rotary Table, the clamping torque is 400 Nm (@ 5 bar Pneumatic input pressure) and 900 Nm (@ 30 bar hydraulic pressure) against 250 Nm and 500 Nm respectively in URH series. Due to this, users can give higher cutting depths for their component. The users will be benefited by faster indexing, reduction in costs and increased productivity.
