In an exclusive interview, Managing Director Rajendra Dhudhe narrates the saga of evolution of Shubhline from being engaged into reconditioning and rejuvenating machine tools to a world-class manufacturer of complex, and gigantic heavy duty double column machining centers which substitute imports and makes India ‘atmanirbhar’ in the sphere of machine tools in general and sophisticated machining centers in particular. Q. Can you tell us about the journey of Shubhline Automation and how it became the first manufacturer of India’s Heavy Duty Double Column Machining Center?
The journey of Shubhline Automation has been one of perseverance, innovation, and growth. It all started in 2006 when I founded Shubhline Services, aiming to provide exceptional machine repair services. Over the years, we earned a reputation for quality work in machine tools reconditioning and retrofitting.
In2009, we received our first order for complete machine tool reconditioning and retrofitting with a CNC controller, which marked a significant milestone for us. From 2009 to 2016, we experienced rapid expansion, and in 2016, we transformed into Shubhline Automation Pvt. Ltd., focusing on offering advanced machining solutions.
The turning point came during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.Utilizing our accumulated knowledge and experience, we designed India’s First Heavy Duty Double Column Machining Center – the ‘Prostar’. This achievement made us the first manufacturer of such a machine in India, and it was a moment of immense pride for us.
