Bengaluru: 17 February 2026 – IMTEX FORMING 2026 and concurrent shows Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing, and Weldexpo (held in association with the Indian Institute of Welding), organised by Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), concluded successfully on 25th January 2026 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.

The five-day exhibition, held from 21st to 25th January 2026, received an enthusiastic response from the manufacturing community. IMTEX FORMING 2026 was larger than its previous edition and generated palpable excitement across every aisle of the exhibition. Visitors engaged with the latest technologies and trends in metal forming, including presses, bending, welding and joining, high-speed laser machines, robotics and automation in sheet metal working, additive manufacturing, and more.
Concurrent shows Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing, and Weldexpo, received positive responses from visitors. With digital manufacturing becoming an integral part of the forming and tooling industries, companies had much to offer at the Digital Manufacturing show. The latest solutions in artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation were unveiled. Parallel events: i2 Academia Pavilion featuring 32 colleges and around 70 participants from 24 cities; Manufacturing Technology Quiz Contest featuring around 50 participants from 11 colleges; and Jagruti-IMTMA Youth Programme, to encourage students to pursue a career in machine tool and manufacturing technology, also generated a good response.
Around 1200 delegates from 272 organisations visited the exhibition as trade delegations.
Moldex India and Fastenex, organised by Messe Stuttgart, and the Symposium on Welding for a Greener Tomorrow, organised by the Indian Institute of Welding, were co-located with IMTEX FORMING 2026.
Overall, the five-day exhibition was a unique platform to further accelerate the adoption of digital transformation and high-productivity solutions in manufacturing. For more information on the exhibition, log on to www.imtex.in
