Hexagon Production Software (HPS – formerly known as Vero Software) which is World’s No. 1 CAM (Manufacturing Solutions Provider) Company successfully conducted “India Customer Meet 2019 Event” on 22nd May 2019 at Sheraton Grand Hotel at Pune from 4:00 pm onwards. The event was a grand success with sharing of knowledge & best practices within Manufacturing Community. More than 350 members including customers, prospects, associates and partners attended the grand event.
Mr. Amol Mane (General Manager-Technical & Marketing, India & South East Asia) hosted the entire event. He started with “Welcome Note and Corporate Presentation”. The main attraction of the event was presentation on “Smart Manufacturing using Hexagon Software Products” by Mr. Raf Lobato (Strategic Product Development Director–R&D).
Mr. Adinath More (Technical Manager–CAM Products) presented “What’s New in WORKNC 2020”. He highlighted the major developments done in WORKNC 2020 like New 5 Axis rolling strategy, improved calculation speed in various aspects, improvements in robot module and simultaneous 5 Axis machining using lens & barrel cutters.
HPS launched the “NCSIMUL” product which is used for simulating, verifying and optimizing CNC machining in a 3-step process. Mr. Pankaj Kolhe (Technical Manager-CAM Products) presented NCSIMUL in detail after the product launch.
There were 3 case study presentations done by the customers. Mr. George Joseph (General Manager – Basis Mold India Pvt. Ltd.) & Mr. Johnny Ageorges (Machining Expert-Silver Basis .) jointly shared how all their departments benefited from HPS products like WORKPLAN, WORKNC & WORKXPLORE. Mr. Dipak Patil (Production Manager-Sky Win Industries) explained about how they saved time & cost using RADAN product. Mr. Bhausaheb Waware (Design Engineer–Tulesh Industries) elaborated how VISI progress is beneficial for tool design enhancing quality and productivity.
The glamorous part of the event was role play “HCP Hain Kya?” on HPS Technical Support Systems and Processes. This was directed and acted by HPS team with full of energy. The role play talked about the real-life situation of customer and service provider. This was not only the entertainment but was also an eye opener session for the audience.
There were 3 important presentations done by the event sponsors. Silver Sponsor presentation was done by Mr. Joydeep Roy from Professional Services EPLAN India. Gold Sponsor presentation was done by Mr. Shambhu Banerjee (India Product Manager – HP Workstation Business) from HP and Platinum Sponsor presentation was done by Mr. Suhas Warke (Sr. Manager Applications & Key Accounts Management) from Kyocera CTC Precision Tools Pvt. Ltd.
WORKNC CAM Contest was an attraction for CAM programmers. Mr. Umesh Byakude (Jaya Hind Industries) was the winner of the WORKNC CAM contest. Mr. Santosh Yadav from Sridevi Tool Engineering Pvt Ltd was awarded for “Best HCP User”.
The product display booths from MSC Software, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Kyocera, HP & EPLAN was an excellent opportunity for the attendees to see the latest technologies, products and solutions available in the market.
Mr. Amol Mane took this opportunity to introduce VARs of HPS like Kirotech Solutions Pvt Ltd, ABM Engineering Services, GEMS Innovation, Harita Techserv Ltd, Accura Mechtools Pvt Ltd and SPR MILL Tech.
Mr. Sandeep Srivastava (Director– India and South East Asia), Mr. Amit Lele (Strategic Partner Manager – India & South East Asia) and Mr. Raf Lobato felicitated the sponsor presenters, customer case presenters and CAM contest winners.
There was a small open quiz conducted in-between which was successful in keeping same interest level of audience. The photo booth allowed attendees to express about their passion for their favorite products from HPS.
During networking dinner, all attendees interacted with each other and there was a lot of appreciation received from the community for organizing this useful and unique Customer Meet.
Overall, Hexagon Production Software – India Customer Meet 2019 Event held at Sheraton Grand, Pune on 22nd May 2019 was a Grand Success!
