A long time ago, the grandfather of today’s group chairman Mr. Giles Forster, was involved in packaging machines for the food industry, more specific in packaging all kinds of biscuits.Mr. Leslie Forster found out that the bearings in the machines suffered from the residue and sugar from those biscuits, and in the worst case stopped working.
He created a simplified version of the V-guide system, which we have today. On the back of that development, from the basis making packaging machines, later the company developed further into a linear motion company, making all kinds of linear and circular systems.
HepcoMotion is the inventor of the V-guide technology and our products have a wide range of possibilities. They are used in many and all kinds of applications, such as linear systems -Rack, Belt, Pneumatic or Screw driven; Circular Systems -Rack or Belt Driven; Complete Track Systems with the option to drive it with a belt or scroll; and more special we have an innovative 1-Trak system, HepcoMotion has also a partnership with Beckhoff, where our GFX-system forms the mechanical basis of a complete linear motor track system.
