Future challenges in die casting

Hello every one, I am writing this article as some of the people ask to me that say something and write something on new technology in Die Casting. As we all know since 1838 when die casting process start developing from printing press to till 2020 we had developed so much technology but problem is that only 4 to 5 out of 100 people know to use these technology.

Now we are still suffering we have all technology all new latest HPDC machine which have all controls like Plunger speed controls, Intensification controls, Plunger movement controls, Die closing speed controls, Pressure build up time controls, Plunger acceleration controls, Ejector controls, Spray controls, Casting extractor controls,Vacuum technology, Jet cooling technology, Designing software, Simulation. X-ray, Density measurement equipment, Degassing equipment, Ladling controls, Trimming press, Alloy composition measurement equipment, spectro machine, Load testing equipment, Latest automatic melting furnace, Many kind of fluxes, die coat, plunger lube, ladle coating, die material, plunger type, Strain gauging, Vacuum testing machine, Mold temperature control unit. And so many other controls we have developed.

But still we are suffering and you know what still we are not able to find what we have to do, still we are finding another technology even we don’t know how to use available technology.

See, we are suffering because we are keep on continue to developing machine’s and technology now time to develop people, time to develop yourself, time to develop your employee so that you and they can utilize available technology in full throttle. Otherwise this is never ending process.

Try to understand there are lot of businessman out there to make money they will keep on continue to make new technology , new die coat, new plunger lube, new type of plunger , new type of shot sleeve, new machine, and so on. This is never ending.

You just grow yourself and to your employee, this is gonna be help you in future. This is very clear to those people who will not learn these logical technique, Full utilization of HPDC machine, Understanding of all HPDC machine parameter, Defect control technique, How to validate process parameter, Understanding of Die design parameter, How we can increase our product yield, Casting simulation understanding, Understanding of cavity vacuum machine parameter and its working, And above all technology available now. They will not able to survive future Die Casting manufacturing.

“See this is very easy task to adopt a new technology but after that we don’t bother about there effective utilization.”

My request to all Die Casting owner is that think twice when you are going to purchase new machine or new technology, just do evaluation of your current machine and technology utilization. How much function your machine can perform against that how many function you are using effectively. Examine the people in your company or place how many people are know abut their machine or technology full utilization.

Don’t develop technology first develop yourself and to your employee.
